To insure patient safety, we use the Hu-Friedy Instrument Management System. Our instruments are stored in a small cassette. The cassettes are placed in an ultrasonic bath where they are cleaned. This protects our staff during the process. Then they are wrapped in special paper, then sterilized and stored until used. After each use, the instruments follow the same path again.
The dental supply industry has been very creative providing us with many disposable items such as needles; one use and they are discarded safely. Disposable gloves are worn during patient visits and are also discarded after each use.
