Implants In A Day
Upon Arrival to PerioCare With Broken Tooth

How Fast Can It Happen?

To place and use a dental implant on the same day, certain criteria have to be met. Adequate bone to support the implant must be present, an appropriate sized implant needs to be placed, and the implant placed must be very secure in the bone.  Then a temporary crown must be placed and adjusted so no biting forces are placed on it.

Because the bone is alive, it takes time for the bone to grow tightly around the dental implant.  This process is called "osseointegration".  After a period of weeks to months, a final crown can placed.

Since this cannot be performed in every case, each situation must be evaluated individually.  The above criteria as well as the patient's medical and dental history is considered in the decision.  Contact PerioCare today to have this evaluation process begun.
